We offer daily private hot air balloon rides for guests on a breathtaking aerial tours over Vilnius. Our experienced pilots will guide you gently above the capital of Lithuania, exploring busy streets and green parks, allowing unique bird ‘s-eye view of the stunning city landscape below. Flying up to 4000 feet above the earth will indulge from views.

This is completly private balloon ride only for your group of friends or family. Enjoy private space and entertaining company to celebrate any occation with smiles and happiness. Share the moments with the family or colleagues and create remarkable moments to remember.

During your 1-hour hot air balloon ride you ‘ll have an opportunity to see the town of Vilnius! You will glide effortlessly over skyscrappers and Neris river, taking peaks into the daily life of Vilnius locals and city guests.

If you’re looking for the best hot air balloon rides, sunrise is always the way to go. Sunrise flights are amazing. The winds are calm and sun rays hitting the city as you lift off from the launch site. It’s a beautiful sight, super fun, and a great experience for people who are early risers or want the best hot air ballooning experience. Families with kids and older adults in their group will love a sunrise flight.

All our tours include the pickup and return service from your hotel or apartments. We are flexible and can arrange different spots for meeting or return. The duration of experience lasts around 3 hours.

Our hot air balloon rides are more than just a sightseeing tour – this is the adventure you will never forget. Soaring through the skies, nothing but excitement and exhilaration of flight with just the wind and sun.
Helping with the setup and takedown of the hot air balloon isn’t required, but we find many guests enjoy being involved in the process of inflation and pack-up.

We do not ask for credit card details during the booking process to avoid dealing with refunds in case flight is cancelled due to the weather. You are welcome to pay by cash or card just after the experience is finished.

You’ll be glad to know that our hot air balloon pilots are weather gurus. Since balloon pilots only use the wind for steering, it’s not possible to fly if the winds are too fast or going in a poor direction. If your balloon ride is canceled due to weather conditions - you’ll have the opportunity to reschedule. 

There is common myth surrounding hot air balloons what it will be very cold outside. The fact is that temperature drops only 6 degrees in the altitude of 1000 meters (3000 ft). It get's warmer from sun and the burners, so the same clothes as you would normally wear in current day conditions will fit perfectly. Although we do recommend comfortable shoes to walk on grass.

Sunrise in June-July can be pretty early. The good news is there are spectacular views from a balloon at sunrise. Close to sunrise is when the wind speed on the surface is slowest. If you aren’t an early riser, you can always select a sunset balloon ride. We meet about 3 hours prior to sunset for those balloon rides.

During our flight experienced ground crew will chase balloon, meeting us on the landing spot, where after the packing and celebrating give guests a courtesy shuttle back to the town.

Balloon.LT is proud to have a perfect safety record. The main reason we’ve been able to keep this perfect safety record is we have experienced pilots who won’t fly in marginal or poor weather conditions. Our number 1 priority is the safety of our passengers and crew.

A great experience
Our first air balloon tour with Thomas and his crew has been simply amazing! We felt secure and confident since minute 1: they are very professional, they came to pick us up from home and took us back home when we finished; the whole flight was very smooth and quiet, in the end we tasted some delicious Lithuanian snacks, fruits and champagne to celebrate!! In short, these guys really know what they are doing. The views and feelings during the tour are to die for, also because Trakai, its castle and little lakes make the atmosphere fairy. We absolutely recommend to do this, it is a life changing experience!

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. We had a pleasure to fly with amazing pilot Saulius. Super friendly and caring. Years of experience was obvious. Explained everything in detail, answered all the questions and shared some stories. The scenery was breathtaking both for those that live in this city and the guests from abroad. An amazing experience
I decided to try it out of curiosity. Luckily I was in Vilnius for holidays and I gave it a try. the Tomas and the hot air ballon team were quite professional, friendly and helpful. You are celebrated with champagne and a pilot singes certificate at the end of the flight. The airshow before the take off is breath taking. The ride was quite cool, I would say. In my opinion you will see more of Vilnius on the Ballon ride than on foot. The pilot was very friendly, amiable and very hospitable throughout the ride. He made the ride an adventure.

Floating Over Vilnius Fantastical!
Tomas and his team cannot be bettered. All three spoke English, have a sense of humour and above all were so professional. They’re the only company to provide much needed hot coffee for the 7am flight and on landing a celebratory glass of Prosecco. Tomas collected us from our hotel bang on 545am and drove us to the launch park, where we saw our balloon inflated alongside three or four other ballooning companies. Tomas’ tour is the best. And three hours or so later he returned us to our hotel. We can’t recommend highly enough. It’s an experience not to be missed.
